Tell us about the beginning of your interest in darts.

I was asked to fill in for a team in the Fifth Street about 6 years ago. The rest is history; I wound up becoming captain of that team and the team’s captain for the next 2 years.

What is the most annoying antic you see from other dart players?

I can’t stand when people punch the board. The board didn’t throw crap darts. I also can’t stand all the yelling at the board. PEOPLE it’s just a game.

On which team(s) do you play?

On Mondays I play for Top Gun out of Sparetime, and Wednesday I play for Empty Pockets out of the Eagles

What keeps you playing darts?

The challenge of becoming the best and to help the young guys just starting out. I know where I came from and I’m always willing to help anybody with their game.

What goals in darts do you have?

To be the best in the area and one of the best in the country (maybe one day) and to have fun all the time, no matter what happens.

What has been your best moment in darts? Getting my card to Chicago and beating Ray Carver with Frannie.

What’s your advice to a newbie dart player? Don’t get frustrated-just keep practicing and HAVING FUN. Ask questions to the better players (Poppa, Eddie, Mike Roth, Jack Kelly) we’re all willing to help anybody.
